Lance Armstrong a cheat

Some people say, the truth sets you free. Even cycling, if you say the truth it can get you back in line but, did Lance Armstrong? It's a very good idea, maybe even a good one, copying the other remarkable dirty cheating bike riders  secrets from the past.

What of cycling's other secrets?Lance Armstrong (a cheat), has been banned from cycling for life

the NCI is looking for other drug cheats, and building a truth commission.

FUN DAY AT AUCKLAND ZOO FOR SPECIAL GUESTS

Some special guests got to go closer than the animals than most people are ever allowed.

To help celebrate blind week, the royal New Zealand foundation of the blind treated 8 blind children to a fun day at the Auckland  zoo where they got to touch the animals.

Most visitors have to stand at a distance.

Mrs Ritzema said it was a very good experience for the child to feel the animals and hear them so they could get a "mental vision" in their heads.

Spending my time in Japan

Hello anybody who is looking at this post,
I am Larissa and I am talking about my time when i was in  Japan.
I always wonder,in Japan, that when is the temperature going to cool down at least for a minute because the temperature is like 36 degrees, like a oven getting really mad at me. The cicadas are screaming madly. The wasps are like mad bizzing and buzzing about scaring me to death.
It's more hotter than new zealand, going to the lake everyday.

NOW YOU NO HOW BOILING JAPAN IS !!!!!!!!!!!!!

FILIPINO PRISON DOING TIME, GANGNAM STYLE

Ganganam Style has been the hit of the year.

College bands have copied it, and newly weds have squeezed it to their celebrations.

BUT this favorite prison dance troupe has learnt to dance Psy's Gangnam Style. They've adopted the song Gangnam Style, by the rapper Psy (his actual name is Park Jae Sung ). Sadly, the prisoners could not use the elevator, swimming pool or sauna. But they could do the iconic horse riding dance and the other moves only. So they could not mimic the video.

Dancing in a competition

                      DANCING IN A COMPETITION

The bell rings
Butterfly's are in my tummy kicking soccer ball against the skin like goals
"good luck!" people say to me for the last minute like I am going to die
Then my two legs walk out like wanting to get out of the pantry quickly
Then after 30 seconds I enjoy myself

A couple of minutes later...

I feel good
I have achieved something like climbing mt everest

But most of all I danced good and I am ok.

Being at home sick

The heater is roaring out warmth for me
My mum starts to sigh
I am in bed in my pajamas
Spreading my legs out like a starfish in bed
I sleep, read and blog
I sometimes don't want to eat

  But the key thing is:

IT'S NOT FUN BEING SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

use your WITS!

Walk away if they insult you like a dog barking (trust me it's REALLY annoying) just walk away and ignore.

Ignore them they're just acting silly, be yourself and ignore. They're just wasting they're time.

Tell someone if it's REALLY getting serious tell a teacher or a parent or guardian. But not strangers.

Say an I statement. An I statement is: " I feel bad stop it you are really mean" or " I HATE it do you do this to anyone else?" that will surely keep them quiet.

BUT DO NOT:

stammer when you say the I statement they'll just tease you more

don't keep it a secret for two - three years it will be more tears (I did that once :-( )

cry that's is going to make the bully stronger

stand there all crunched shoulder like, and not walk away that will make the bully even more want to bully you

say mean things to THEM!

THANKS FOR TALKING MY ADVICE, AND USE IT!!!!!!

My Animoto Video
                                  PHOEBE AND ME

Me and my little sister Phoebe are very close sisters. She makes me laugh, and if it wasn't for her i would be a blank piece of paper. I get lots of creative ideas from her and, when I'm blue she cheers me up.

Phoebe has pale skin, dark shiny brown eyes, bright red cheeks and a nice smile. She always likes to wear her hair down, so if you ever meet her, in the weekend, her hair is down and wet. She always cares about her hair and puts lots of tea tree oil spray on  it it takes about five minutes for her to brush her hair and spray. She also does care about what clothes to wear and it's so annoying. Asking me questions like: "What clothes should i wear?"
I hate it.

Sadly we sometimes sort of fight if everyone is busy, like kicking each other and punching etc.
we fight on little things like who's going out the door first, bla bla bla.
But it's important to have a sister other wise your board to death, with out a little sister.
Here's a quote about sisters and brothers:
"Sisters and brothers are as close as hands and feet"
Vitnamese proverb.

M. Fonteyn

Imagine you’re on stage, with people taking photos of you, AND you are the best dancer. That was Margot Fonteyn. Margot Fonteyn, was an amazing ballerina in the whole of the 20th century. She was born in18 May 1919 but, sadly died on 21st of February 1991 aged 71. She was born as Margaret Hookham in Reigate, England. She was one of the best dancers of all time. She was famous for her performances in Swan Lake Sleeping Beauty and Giselle. In the 1960s she was teamed with a Russian ballet dancer, Rudolf Nureyev, at the Royal Ballet of England.

EARLY LIFE

Margot was born from a English father and a half - Brazilian Mother. Very early in Fonteyns career, Magaret the Fontes  into Fonteyn (a surname her big brother got as well)  and Magaret into Margot. Her fathers family were very familiar with music and literature, but her father was an engineer.
When Fonteyn was four her mother signed her for ballet classes with her older brother. At the age of eight she made a long journey to china, with her mother and  father, who had taken a job with a tobacco company there. Margot's brother, Felix remained at his school. For 6 years she lived in china in a place called, Tientsin then in Shanghai, where she studied ballet with a Russian ballet tutor, Goerge Goncharov. Then her mother bought her back to London when she was 14 to make her ballet career come true. Continuing to work in Shanghai, her father had to go To world war two, to defeat the invading Japanese.
In 1933 , she joined the Vic-Wells Ballet school, now known as the Royal ballet school of England. She trained under the direction of Niette de Valois and teachers including Olga Preobrajenska and Mathilde Kschessinska. After starting with the Vic-Wells Ballet, she rose quickly through the levels of the company.by 1939 she had preformed principle roles in Giselle, Swan Lake and The sleeping beauty and was appointed prima ballerina.

DANCING WITH RUDOLPH NUREYEV
Fonteyn began her greatest partnership, when many people thought she was about to retire. (including the head of the royal ballet Niette de Valois). In 1961 Rudolph Nureyev came to the west, and on
February 21 1962 she and Nureyev preformed the wonderful Giselle. She was 42 and he was 24.
Their performance was a great success, and during the curtain calls Nureyev dropped to his knees and kissed Fonteyn's hand. They were partners, until Fonteyn's retirement, in 1979, they were very loyal to
each other. Fonteyn and Nureyev were known for lots of curtain calls and bouquet tosses. Fonteyn and Nureyev preformed Ashton's marguerite and Armand for them. Which no other couple danced
like until the 21st century. They danced Kennetth Macmillan's Romeo and Juliet. They eventually
went on film,  Romeo and Juliet, swan lake, Les Sylphides, La Corsaire pas de Deux. Despite in the background with a 19 year gap in ages but they got so close together Rudolph said about her:

"At the end of " Lac des Cygnes"  when she left the stage in her great white tutu I would of followed her to the end of the world."

Well known Michael Peto took many photos of Nureyev and Fonteyn to make their dancing come alive and widely known.

HONOURS
Fonteyn was awarded DBE (made a Dame) when she was 37 in 1956
Margot was one of the 5 "woman of achievement" and was selected for a set of British stamps issued in August,1996
In her home town of Reigate, stands a statue of her.
